Fast Food - Mmmmm Yummy!

A while ago, I went on a little fishing trip to June Lake. On the way there, my mother-in-law stopped at a fast food joint to get a soda; as we waited for the drink, this is what I saw above the cashier's window. GROSS! After reading this, it definitely reconfirmed my feelings of disgust for nearly all fast food chains. I will not touch anything that comes from McDonalds, Jack-in-the Box, Wendy's, Taco Bell, or any other chain of this sort. I was not always anti-fast food, but it's been years since I've touched anything from these places. I've just heard too many horror stories. And honestly, the food tastes horrible and you feel worse after eating it! I just think it is freakin outrageous to be buying food from a place that has a label warning people about birth defects, cancer, or reproductive harm! Yet, I will admit that I do occassionally cruise over to Inn-n-Out to have a burger. Sound hypocritical? My only rebuttal is that they they don't have a warning sign above their window and their food is fresh-n-natural, I hope. The same goes for Chipotle; however, I don't frequent either one of these places any more because the taste isn't the same for me. My hubby says it's because I'm pregnant and he's been noticing irregularities in my food preferences. For instance, I love spaghetti. I made spaghetti 3 or 4 times in a week! I know I'm probably sounding a bit on edge and I'm not baggin' on anyone of you who eat at these places. To each his own!
