Update...

So...

Matai is now 2 months. Wow.

He loves to eat (as you can see)...

Drools non-stop...

Smiles whenever you raise your eyebrows...

Laughed for the first time the day he turned 2 months (thanks Aunty Lia!)...

Coos, screams, cries, gurgles...

Looks mad most of the time (or maybe he's just in really deep thought, haha)...

Fits into 6 month outfits...

Enjoys making everyone hold him standing up (or else the mad-dog comes out)...

Makes mommy happy all day!

The Love Monster

Matai is 1 month today! We went to the doctor yesterday to get him checked and he's doing great. He weighs 10lbs now and has grown to 22 in.

Tuesday, March 24

Sorry it's taken so long but there are more to come! Matai is such a trooper...he was really sick this past week and the doctor said he was developing ear infections in both ears and he has bad congestion due to a cold he got from me, Scotty, and Brett. I feel terrible that my little guy has to go through this. He is feeling a lot better and is steadily gaining weight. I am amazed at how he is growing - he will be outgrowing the 0-3 month size clothing within the next week or two. Scotty is a great big brother, and always wants to kiss or hold his little brudder.

He's Here!

He came a week early on Monday, March 2 (on my mom's birthday =).

We named him Matai Brett Meyer.

I don't have a way to put pictures up yet but I'll find a way.

He weighed 7lb 5oz and 20in.

Labor was quick and suprisingly easy compared to Scotty's birth.

From the way I see it he looks like Scotty did except more hair and has darker skin like his mommy.

Matai is healthy and active and we love him sooooo much!

My Bucket List

Here's a list of 101 things I want to do before I turn 28.

1. Do a temple session once a week for a month.
2. Buy a temple dress.
3. Go on a "real" camping trip in the mountains.
4. Enroll in masters program (speech pathology or teaching?).
5. Send birthday cards on time to family.
6. Get Scotty potty trained.
7. Go on a surf trip with Brett and Scotty and Matai.
8. Do volunteer work for at least 20 hours.
9. Get Brett and I Life Insurance policies.
10. Learn to make a VERY delicious dinner.
11. Teach Scotty to swim or at least to float.
12. Surf at least once a week for a month.
13. Do the lemon detox.
14. Do Yoga three times a week for a month.
15. Learn to make a VERY delicious dessert.
16. Eat nothing but organic for a week.
17. Do a family photo shoot of Brett, Scotty, Matai, and I.
18. Reuse my Trader Joes paper bags every time I go.
19. Re-learn the hula dance Maunaleo.
20. Build a little vegetable garden.
21. Make three 72 hour emergency kits.
22. Learn different ways to purify water.
23. Learn how to shoot a gun/shotgun.
24. Read the BOM/D&C/Pearl.
25. Have family home evening every monday for a month.
26. Get my geneology done on my Dad's side.
27. Date night once a week for a month with Brett.
28. Read 2 books each month for 4 months.
29. Pay my tithing on time.
30. Buy Scotty 10 new books.
31. Do 100 push ups every day for a month.
