I finished reading Embraced by the Light, by Betty J. Eadie. Honestly, I personally wouldn't have picked it up simply by looking at the cover because I thought the title was a bit corny. My hubby was the one to recommend reading it because it's definetly not my type of book (or atleast I thought it wasn't). I'm into fantasy, witches and wizards, that sort of book. Anyhow, the book is about the author's spiritual journey in the afterlife while being considered clinically dead for 4 hours. Let's just say it's a great conversation starter and heart warmer. The main message of the book is that "Love conquers all" --way cheesy but so true!

my grandma read this to me -- years ago on one of my summer visits to the big island. i enjoyed it. gave me lots of faith. i am up for starting a book club...it'll get me to read again!! you are looking good, karen, and are you gonna expand your family any time soon? your boy is soooo cute! catcha later -- what are you doing in california? what part?
