For My Fellow T.V. Buffs
I thought tonight would be a good night to make a list of my favorite t.v. shows for this reason: I can't come up with anything else! For those of you without a t.v. this probably will not inspire you to jump up and run to the nearest electronics store just so you can have your own 40" plasma screen t.v. to watch all my favorite shows. But hopefully, this does inspire you to try and post something...even when the ideas department is running low. Since I've started blogging, I made a mental note that I would try to write something, anything, because it keeps me thinking! I'm sure you don't need a blog to keep thinking but I found that for me, blogging is an outlet, an online journal, a format, for me to express myself. Without it, I would be one of those people who randomly sends emails ONCE in a blue moon asking, "Hey how are you? Long time no talk!". One of the many highlights in my day is to read about what goes on in your lives...probably sounds weird, huh? I absolutely LOVE reading or looking at pictures of events, family, random stuff, that you post. Forgive me if I sound needy or stalker-like. lol. Without much ado about nothing, opps! I meant FURTHER ado about nothing, I present the one, the only...
TOP TEN T.V. SHOWS OF ALL TIME!
(ok maybe just to me)
1. Top Chef - love the drama..."if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen, MAN!"
2. Project Runway - I wish I could sew things out of thin air! Such a cool gift to have.
3. The Dog Whisperer - Totally makes me want to get a dog...watch it and you'll know what I'm talking about. Love it when Caesar starts immitating dog behaivor.
4. The Alaska Experiment - Immediately gets you thinking "what if" I was stranded in Alaska with no food and grizzlys around...do I know how to shoot a gun and gut a beast?
5. American Idol - I totally wanted Cook to win and he did! Oh, come on, I know you watch this show religiously too. lol.
6. Heroes - Way cool. Can't decide whether I would rather be Hiro Nakamura or Claire Bennet.
7. Medium - Creepy but interesting...made crime investigating interesting again.
8. So You Think You Can Dance - I do actually, but I really can't. lol.
9. American Gladiator - Toa is representing! Love when he comes out doing the sasa. lol.
10. Ugly Betty - Very funny. Has lots of twists that keep things interesting and humorous.
So there you have it! I know you were just thrilled to read this as much as I was about typing it. lol. I'll promise to come up with something interesting on Monday - Memorial Day!

I don't watch any of these shows currently. But I watched the 1st season of American Idol "religiously" and every single episode of Project Runway during that season that the Asian girl won. I'd still watch it, but we don't have Bravo. (Does it still show on that channel?) The only show I watch faithfully each week now is none other than the scandalous, dramatic, but funny and addicting Grey's Anatomy.
Love your list!! Sadly I have more than top 10 I think. We have a DVR and that makes it easier to become addicted to TV, so sad for me. I love Top Chef too! Do you watch LOST? that is my favorite! I started watching it because I missed Hawaii, now I am hooked. ;)
P.S. There is a website, www.blurb.com where you can upload your blog and print it as a book. That is what I did for all my blog entries for last year. So blogging has turned into a family journal thing for me too.
great pics of brett on that last post. where have you guys been surfing latley?
we have no television, but we watch sooo many movies. and go to the moffats for the office and project runway.
Karen your blog is awesome! I love that you post regularly! even if it is about tv shows... yeah we still dont have tv. Remember when we watched ugly betty together and brett and stuart were not too excited about it! haha! miss you guys!
