Dream, Dream, Dream.
I've been dreaming alot lately. Mostly about these two bad boys. If you have one of these, I envy you!
Brett's Aunt is visting and she owns a Westfalia Volkswagon (1971 I believe). I wasn't that keen on it until I went searching for Scotty and found him in her van up in the roof! From that moment, I was in loooove. What a perfect camping van and perfect 'home' for the not-so- perfect times when you're suddenly homeless...(been there, done that. haha!). What do ya think guys? Isn't it the cutest!

Westies, I learned, are like mini RV's...there's a small stove top, mini fridge, bed (seats that fold down), and the driver/passenger seats turn backwards, and we can't forget the roof that pops up into a tent! Fun!!!

Here's a car that I've been thinking about...especially since gas prices are heading up to $5.00! Arrrgh! The Aptera is such a geekie looking thing but I'm totally for it! Brett had the priveledge (or so I would call it) of seeing one on the road the other day and I missed it =(.

So my question is: If you knew that this car goes miles on hardly any gas (I'm talking like a HUNDRED miles), would you still drive it?

I would totally drive it! I hate gas prices right now. :( I feel like we're all of our money to gas. I've never seen anything like that before, except maybe in Star Wars or something. That's so crazy they actually make cars like that.
Thanks for your comment! Also, I love the green van. It has "North Shore cruiser" written all over that bad boy.
I'm digging the van :) I don't think the other one is dorky either, it's awesome, never seen one like that before, I'd drive either one, especially the alien looking spaceship one.
KAREN!! I found your blog from Autumn's blog - thanks, Audz ;) - and I just read through a bunch of your posts. Sounds like you and Brett and Scottie are doing great up in SoCal. =) Keep the posts coming, I'll be reading!
westfalia is one of my dream cars too, so rad. i want to live in one someday- when there are no kids around- and just go from beach to beach and surf and hangout!
