Hello Again! Ketchup Time.
Saturday:
Woke up at 7:30am.
Skipped breakfast.
Went to YOGA! with Aunty Annabel, Jordan and Mua.
Ate ACAI BOWL! afterward.
I had such a good time on saturday. I've never been to a Yoga class before so this was a huge treat. We went to a place called YOGA WORKS in Newport Beach. The instructor was probably in his late 50's and at first I thought "Gee, he doesn't look like he can bend and flex like I imagined yoga instructors can do". He just had shoulder surgery so that probably added to my thoughts toward him. During the 1 hour 30 min. of class I kept my eye on him as he walked around helping people do the poses correctly and I noticed how easily he kept his balance on one leg with the use of only one arm. I was suprised that the music he used was a "yoga version" of Bob Marley's songs -- totally made me want to steal it. At the end of the class, we laid flat on our backs and listened to the music and his voice washing over us, "tell your feet to relax...tell your legs to relax...". It was so peaceful I could have stayed like that all day. To top it off, Aunty Annabel took us to get an ACAI bowl and it was delicious. Perfect way to start the day.
Sunday:
Sunday:
Woke up at 9:30am.
Got ready for Church.
Went down to Hollywood for Brett's cousin's mission farewell.
Sat down in sacrament.
Looked behind me.
This is who I saw.

Of course he didn't really look like this.
He looked more like this (picture below).

It was so fun to see Jon Heder a.k.a. Napolean Dynamite haha. He looked so happy sitting there with his wife and baby, actually he got up to chase his baby down the hall. While I was watching the speaker I noticed him again, but he didn't have a beard like I saw on him just minutes ago. I thought it was strange that he jumped from the back of the room to the front in a matter of minutes. I seriously thought my mind was playing tricks on me until I asked someone if Jon had a twin. How cool was that! Two Jon's in the same room. haha.

yeah, his twin's name is dan. he was in our ward when Sei and I first got married. they are both really funny.
That's so funny. Granite's Auntie married "Napolean's" uncle (Guy Heder), but we've never met him before. I didn't know he could look so much better and I also didn't know he had a twin.
isn't a yoga class just awesome!? i went to one that used to be at turtle bay, back in the college days, and i loved it!!! how they can talk you through it and you can actually close your eyes and do it, focused, i miss it. i have never tried a dvd, i wonder if i would like it as much...and an acai bowl -- yum!! that napoleon dynamite kid is the actual nephew of a lady in the ward i grew up in, my parent's ward. she is a heder. did you know any of the hurwitz's? celeste? that's her first cousin. did you know that? anyway, random.
What a fun weekend! I need to do a 'class' to enjoy working out, it motivates me more! Right now it is too HOT to think about any form of exercise. ;) How cool that you saw 'Napoleon.' We just watched that movie a few weeks ago and it seems to get funnier every time I watch it! ;)
Hahaha, Kendall's jealous! He and Ren can quote that entire stupid movie.
That is so cool that you saw the Heder's in church. Love it.
